Join Ms. Jennifer in the large meeting room on Tuesday Feb. 6th @ 3:30pm to learn how to make your own Claymation animation photos; then on Wednesday Feb. 7th @ 3:30pm we will be in the Teen room for the Claymation video editing.

Writing Class: Telling Your Story: Memory and Research With Jeffrey Colvin

Bring your writing skills!

Do you have boxes of family mementoes, journals, notebooks, letters, or photographs that have compelling stories behind them, stories you’d like to write and share with your family, members of your community or with the world? Have you conducted library research about your family or community? Whether you have an idea for a story or a completed draft, this class will show how your memories and collected information can be used to generate compelling characters, settings, and themes for your writing project. Join us at the Ben May Main Library located in the Meeting room for a short writing exercises that will strengthen your ability to craft exciting scenes and unforgettable story lines. You will leave with written scenes that can be used for inspiration or expanded into future writing projects, tips to manage feeling overwhelmed by too much material, and new skills to take your writing to the next level.

Light refreshment will be served in the Armbrecht Briskman Meeting Room. .
