Please join us at the Parkway Branch to commemorate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. for a special screening of the critically acclaimed film, Selma (PG-128 min).
Synopsis: The marches from Selma, Ala., to Montgomery to secure voting rights for black Americans are depicted in this docudrama set during the U.S. Civil Rights Movement, and which focuses on the actions of Martin Luther King Jr.
