“From Preaching to Meddling is my story.”- Francis X. Walter

We will be discussing the autobiography of Francis X. Walter, From Preaching to Meddling: A White Minister in the Civil Rights Movement. Walter grew up in Mobile and became an Episcopal priest who participated in the struggle for racial justice and freedom in Alabama.

This will be a hybrid event (both Zoom and in-person). We will be meeting in-person at the Ben May Main Library at the same time that the Zoom meeting is held.
